Well we're open and playing to full audiences!! Everyone is trying to find the funniest way to deliver certain lines, trying little bits of something new each show and..... where possible.... squeezing some new tit bits in.
We're all shattered but loving life! As much as I thrive off Panto, it does take it out of you. A long production week, followed by at least two shows per day! Most actors do 8 shows per week; six days with two matinees. We have at least 12, sometimes 13!
One thing that can be guaranteed to keep our energy up however is a little bit of Ginger Beer! Me and PG, now neighbours can simply pop next door for a quick GB. And the 'club' is definitely still going strong... I spend most of the interval breaks sitting and chatting with PG. It's great this year to have Kit making more frequent appearances when he hears us chin wagging, as well as my new mate Ray!
Unfortunately Kit and Ray never seem to want a ginger beer... but I'm sure we'll convert them at some point!!
